  • Alfalfa

    Alfalfa provides a nice boost of Vit K as well as supporting the milk flow. Breastfeeding mothers have been using alfalfa to support lactation for a long time. It contains phytoestrogens or plant-components that resemble estrogen and can attach to their receptors, and is anecdotally thought to increase milk supply.

  • Aniseed

    A galactagogue which contains phytoestrogen. Anise is also known for its ability to help relieve gas and colic in babies.

  • Ashwagandha

    One of our personal favourites! Ashwagandha is one of the most important herbs in Ayurveda traditional medicine. Know to calm the brain, relieve stress, increase energy levels, and improve concentration. A highly renowned adaptogen herb supporting female sexual and hormonal health.

  • Calendula

    A beautiful flowering herb known for its antioxidants is believed to increase the flow of blood to the wound site, thereby providing oxygen and nutrients essential to wound regeneration

  • Chamomile

    A long-time favourite used extensively in Germany for many generations. Supporting better sleeping habits and aiding in the reduction of anxiety and nervous energy.

  • Comfrey

    Has been used for centuries in the renewal of skin and bone tissue Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy.

  • Fennel Seed

    A well known galactagogue, studies suggest fennel increases the hormone prolactin which is a vital hormone in breastfeeding mums. Fennel has also been found to be extremely helpful in relieving gas and colic in babies.

  • Ginger

    A delicious galactagogue and wonderful digestion aid for both mother and baby. Know to ease the effects of morning sickness.

  • Goat's Rue

    Is one of the most potent herbs believed to build milk supply and mammary tissue if needed. For this reason, it can be particularly helpful for women who did not experience an increase in breast size during pregnancy, women who have had breast surgeries, and women who simply need more volume of milk. Goats rue is often recommended by lactation consultants!

  • Gotu Kola

    An Ayurvedic herb used to discourage nervous exhaustion whilst promoting mental clarity. A connective tissue tonic that helps restore tone to the ligaments and uterine tissues. As a circulatory tonic Gotu Kola has been known to help in the healing of varicose veins and haemorrhoids.

  • Hibiscus

    A beautiful, tasty, flowering herb which gives this tea it’s beautiful colour and uplifting taste. Hibiscus flowers are also known for their powerful antioxidants.

  • Kelp

    Reports suggest that kelp has the ability to not only renew tissue but bond tissue together.

  • Lavender

    A beautiful aromatic flower that’s been used for centuries in herbal medicine. Is believed to increase cell growth, supporting wounds to heal faster and decreasing the appearance of scars. The anti-microbial action discourages infection. Well known for its ability to encourage a relaxed state of being, discouraging anxiety and supporting a deeper sleep.

  • Raspberry Leaf & Nettle

    These traditional herbs that support the strength and tone of the uterine muscles and pelvic floor whilst encouraging better iron levels. Drinking Raspberry Leaf daily in the second and third trimester is reported to shorten the length of active labour due to Raspberry Leaf toning the uterine muscle fibres in preparation for birth.

    This duo of herbs has been used for centuries supporting women in their recovery after birth. Raspberry leaf is well known as an after birth herbal supplement supporting the recovery of the pelvic floor and uterus. A wonderful herb to support breastmilk supply.

  • Red Clover

    A herb that has been used for centuries by wise women. It has a rich nutrient profile and beneficial compounds making it an excellent herb for supporting reproductive health during all stages of life, in both men and women.

  • Rosehip

    A herb rich in Vitamin C, supporting milk production and iron absorption. Also are believed to ease joint inflammation and prevent joint damage.

  • Shatavari

    Shatavari the 'Queen of Herbs' has been used for centuries as a hormone balancer and a general tonic to uplift female health and libido. Being a powerful adaptogenic herb, it is known to relieve one from physical and emotional stress. Used commonly in India to treat infertility and miscarriage. Shatavari is also used to help prepare the uterus for birth and boost breast milk supply. Also a fantastic ally for perimenopause.

  • Spearmint

    A touch of spearmint to help hide some of the more medicinal herbal flavours. Spearmint is a wonderful herb to help relieve unwanted gas and know to offer relief from nausea.
